Both of these statues represent liberty. The colossus of rhodes was built a long long time ago, but it was supposed to be this giant statue made to remind people of the power of the empire. To scare them. The statue of liberty was made to celebrate the end of slavery. They both represent some sort of liberty. They align with my beliefs by showing what there proud of (in a way).

I believe both of these statues stand for liberty. Although they represent these in different ways. The Clossus was a Statue of Liberty as well as a warning to the empires enemy's to stay clear of its territory. The Statue of Liberty Represents freedom for all types of different people no matter how they look and is not a warning of any kind.
