When I was younger I did it because I wanted to be better than my siblings; but, now I just really enjoy it. 

2) I like to work with clay because you can combine sketching and something 3-D. When I'm home my favorite materials are pens or pencils for sketching or acrylic for painting. 

3) Art is important to me because it's always been a part of my life. I shaped it and let it dry. Then, I cut it off and trimmed. Next,  I fired it, glazed it, and then fired it again. 
I really like the shape of the bowl. But, I wish I made the top of the bowl a little bit more even. Then I made a cutout to the shape I wanted and then made a tar-paper version. I traced that out of the clay. Then, I connected the two ends and added a bottom. Then, I cut out a rose design. Lastly, I fired it, glazed it, and then fired it again. 
I like the rose design; but, I don't like how it's kind of sharp inside the details of the rose cutouts. Once I was done,  I let it dry and then trimmed it. Then, I pulled a handle and slipped it on. Then, I fired it, glazed it, and fired it again. 
I like the shape of it and the hombre of the colors. I don't like the random drip of the random color on the piece. I don't like the bottom trim f the piece because I didn't trim it far enough.
