My favorite color is red! I love red, and it loves me back. Just not red 40. Black and red complement each other perfectly. I dye my hair red sometimes. My laundry is never hard to sort because it’s literally all 50% black and 50% red.

I was born and raised in Ypsilanti, Michigan. I moved out of the nest at 18 years old. I stayed in Peninsular Place for two years. And just last year, I got an apartment of my own, here in Ypsilanti.

I love to cook! I enjoy finding new recipes and meal inspiration online. Attached is a clip of some chicken hibachi I made recently. I also took Culinary Arts & Bakery Science with Chef Gardner in high school.

I enjoy reading novels. Typically, nonfiction or survival. At the moment, I am reading At The Root of This Longing by Carol Lee Flinders. It’s about a feminist woman learning how to live a spiritually fulfilling life.

Right now, I am writing a short nonfiction story of my own.

As I get older, I’m really turning into an outdoor girly. Reconnecting with nature at least twice a week is— mandatory.

I really want to get into doing some kind of calligraphy or sign making possibly. I made this really quick for my two year old niece.

Short Term Goals: To start my classes off strong & complete at least to chapters of my recreational writing.

Long Term Goals: To strengthen my skills & talents through school and connections. To have a set plan for my future & career focus. To be successful, & create a strong foundation for my unit. To one day be able to purchase land, & grow all of my produce.
