She took to the center of the gym and placed her hand on the barre for the first time, and later that night, she quit. After bending and stretching and balancing Misty decided it just wasn't for her. Dancers can spend years trying to convince their teachers to allow them to go en pointe which refers to a style of shoe that allows the dance to stand on the very tips of her toes. With all her skills Cindy had faith thst Misty was ready for pointe only a month after her first ballet class.
