The best way to travel around London is to take the underground which is also known as 'the tube'. It has many lines and can usually get you from A to B in the quickest way. The roads have a lot of traffic and you also have to pay a £10 charge to drive in, so it's easier, faster and cheaper to take the tube. It operates 24 hours on the weekend but closes around midnight on weekdays.
