If children under age 16 are employed for more than three hours in a school day, than the most likely will not have enough time for school itself. During the industrial revolution kids didn't have enough time to go to school because of their long work days, and under three hours of work on a school day is most likely enough time for both school and work.

During the revolution, many children were hurt when operating the machinery at the factories. Not being able to be employed in a machinery repair job is safer than the jobs given to the children in the revolution. Even with today's "safer" technology, accidents can still happen.

The machinery used in the operations listed above is more dangerous than typical repair jobs. The Industrial revolution showed us that these machines can be very dangerous to children due to their potentially deadly functions and possible unhealthy pollution side affects to the human body.

The affects long work days and dangerous jobs created a threatening atmosphere in the Industrial Revolution and can be seen as unsafe for the kids involved.
