When reading about article 3 the article talks a lot about how the book To kill a mockingbird should be banned in the 8th grade. They think that the content for the book is too strong for them to handle. That people learning about Tom Robinson not getting a fair trial is not a good thing. People who look at that might think that they won't get a fair trial. In my opinion I think that they are too young and they should not be reading until later high school years.

In my article the main argument is that eighth graders do not fully comprehend the book. Also "To Kill A Mockingbird"
is more than a book about race and justice, and it is not the onlu book about race in justice. This may not be the best to illiminate those themes, especially when this book reinforces so many steriod types and misconceptions many eighth graderrs are hardly equipped to consider.
I disagree with this , this book is a major key in our history and should be taught.

Article two talks about many of the events that has changed the world we live in today and states how the trial in "To Kill a Mockingbird" is another event in history that changed the future. The author says that Tom Robinson was convicted guilty but proven innocent. Then at the end brings up the quote ,"Let the dead bury the dead this time" that convicting Boo Radley would be like killing a mockingbird after killing the man that accused and innocent black man of rape which then lead him to his death. I agree with the author that Tom Robinson was innocent because both of the witnesses had diffrent story's and they where highly diffrent from one another. Also you could see the emotion in Tom face, speech and body language.

In Article 3 it talks about how people shouldn't read this book because of offensive language, and the scheme of the book. 8th graders (which I think is too young) read this book when I'm a sophomore and reading this book. I think the appropriate age for this book is the 9th-10th grade. There is another book called "Monster" and is about a white lawyer, and a black defendant. Which is the same as TKAM.
