We also ensured to incorporate our library resources so they were on display and easily accessible. We incorporated aboriginal music through our announcements. One of our EAs also made bannock with our students. 
Teachers reinforced concepts during their teaching time, linking with curriculum.

This year we have completed the Blanket Activity with our staff as well as the Grade 5 and 6 classes. There's a div 1 kit and a div 2 kit. We encourage each teacher to take the kits out. At Multicultural day/week Gary and others presented Metis dancing to different grade levels. One of our school families danced for the school with drummers and singers. Our staff came to Sacred Heart for a staff PD (it was fantastic!!!)
