This task requires you to demonstrate your understanding of learning outcomes listed in

4.0 Electric Current n Direct Current Circuits. Subtopics 4.1 thru 4.4

Read the learning outcomes CAREFULLY for each subtopics and show that you have acquired the outcomes by constructing a model of your understanding.

Your model must minimally include:

Concepts explanation stated in your own words.

Examples, using diagrams, mathematical relationships, some values and the necessary algebraic n numerical solutions wherever is appropriate and descriptions on what you are doing.

ALL steps and units must be clearly shown. Your demonstration of outcomes from the model you construct must be sufficient and must be well articulated and written so as to convince your younger brother/sister that he/she too can understand the model you constructed. Note that it is not for me to understand your model but for your brother/sister.

The more simplified, cogent and well articulated your model is, the more likely you will get excellent grade for this task.

Best for you to write, sketch, and show the model on paper. Then scan using low resolution and email to me rather than taking too much time to use word processor. Its your choice. If u believe using word processor is best for u then by all means do use it. Please scan using low resolution and combine/merge your files together in a word processor or in a pdf format. The completed merged file you sent must not be bigger than 3MBs.

All submissions are to be emailed to phy4072016@gmail.com latest by 1159 pm Weds Dec 13th 2017. Please save d file as

"urname_Test2_13122017"

This is an individual task so that you can demonstrate you have understood. So I trust that you will not seek help or let others do this task for you. I definitely will not tolerate any plagiarized work.... Be honest to yourself and to almighty ALLAH....

A hypothesis is a statement that can be tested. So the statement, "A watched pot never boils," is a valid scientific hypothesis because we can test it (and find that in this case it is NOT supported by the evidence).

A theory is a general principle or body of principles that has been developed to explain a wide variety of phenomena. A scientific theory is NOT a wild guess. It must be consistent with known experimental results and it must have predictive power. As new knowledge is gained, theories are refined to better explain the data.

A law is a mathematical relationship that is consistently found to be true. For example, one of the most famous laws in physics is Einstein's e=mc^2.
^-^

Open a new padlet account with your own name

The class time is designated for Fridays 3-6 pm at FSG A405. It can either be face-to-face (F2F) or blended mode. Class sessions will strictly employ 21st Century learning methods(flipped classroom) and will be used for engagement between you all and me about the content in helping you attain the first learning outcome for the course. So, do your designated reading and PHeT simulations before class time... Always be ready to engage during class sessions...

Your lab sessions will be facilitated by another lecturer, Dr Nazli.
