Leaf Trouble is a story of squirrels Pip, Blossom and their mom. Pip stuck his head out of the nest and he sniffed the air and said "Something`s changed!" Pip`s nest was an old oak tree. Something was happing to the tree so slowly that Pip did not notice until now. Pip was so surprised that he let go of the tree trunk! The leafs were changing colours. They were green, yellow, orange and even red. Pip tried to save all the leaves of the tree. Then Pip`s little sister Blossom scurried up to Pip. Pip and Blossom collected all of the leaves that had fallen and put it into a pile. "What now?" said Blossom .Pip replied "We put them back" Pip and Blossom tried to stick the leaves back... but it did`t work very well. Then all at once a sudden gust of wind struck and all the leaves flew away and hundreds of leaves began to fall. Their mom came and asked them what they were doing. When their mom found out what they were doing she could not stop smiling. Their mom explained them that after keeping all the leaves all summer the tree needs to rest. Pip said sadly "but I love this tree... and it`s our home and I want it back the way it was!" Mom said "it will come back but it will just take some time." Pip asked his mom "like when the sun sets and comes back again?" "Yes like when the sun sets and comes back again, but it will just take a little longer." Pip, Blossom and mom played beneath the old oak tree until sunset. Before they left they collected some leaves back to their nest. "There such beautiful colours!" said Pip smiling. He geld up the leaves up to show his mom and sister. "There the colours of the sunset!" Said Pip.
