Types of evidence

Statistical - the strongest type of evidence.
Textual - needed to support an argument especially when writing about another text.
Testimonial - expert opinion but for this type of source you need to check the credibility of the expert.
Anecdotal - considered the weakest because it is a personal account of events.

Using a variety of transition words is necessary for this type of essay to not sound repetitive.

Lip Oil vs. Gloss Balm

Winky Lux In the Stars Lip Oil and Tarte Maracuja Juicy Shift pH-powered Plumping Gloss-Balm are both lip products that differ in price, packaging, options, ingredients, and results.

The first difference is the price of these products. In the Stars Lip Oil is cheaper than the Maracuja Juicy Shift pH-powered Plumping Gloss-Balm. The lip oil retails at $18.00 (Winky Lux) and can be found at Target and Walmart. The gloss balm retails for $26.00 (Tarte) and can be found at Ulta and Sephora. Both products are available online through their brand’s websites and can be ordered on Amazon and delivered directly to your door (Google Search Tarte and Winky Lux).

Another difference between the two is the packaging that the products are in. The lip oil has a screw-on lid with an applicator attached that you just swipe over your lips. The gloss balm has a lid that protects the product from the elements. Once that lid is removed, the balm can be moved up from its tube by pressing the bottom button. Both lip products are put on the lips in the same swiping motion using different types of applicators.

A third difference is the available options for these products. The lip oil is only available in clear-scented vanilla oil with added gold stars that create a gold simmer effect for your lips. Winky Lux does make other lip oils but this is the only one that includes the gold stars. The gloss balm comes in nineteen different colors/flavors and is pH-powered so it creates the perfect color based on your lip’s pH. Even fruit flavors like Grape and Blueberry create a nice pink color regardless that the balm is in the color of the fruits.

Another difference is the ingredients for each product. The lip oil has Vitamin E, Avocado oil, Sunflower Oil, and Jojoba Oil as the main ingredients (Winky Lux). The gloss balm’s general ingredients include maracuja oil, hyaluronic acid, grapeseed oil, goji, acai, acerola, and vitamin E (Tarte). The gloss balm’s ingredients do change depending on the gloss balm's color/flavor.

Finally, the result of using these lip products is to hydrate your lips. Both of these products do that. The lip oil feels very smooth when applied. The gloss balm goes beyond hydrating and also leaves the lips feeling plumper with a slight warming effect when applied. Overall, both of these products are great options for keeping lips healthy.
