I have been with Eden for 17 years, working first as a teacher, and then working in some type of administrative role for the last 13 years. This has included Assistant Director of Family Support and Supervisor of Instruction, Director of Educational Services and Managing Director of Education. In my current role, I am responsible for the oversight of all program and service areas for Eden. This includes the School program for students from 3-21, our adult Day, Residential and Employment Programs, Speech and Language Services and our Outreach Department, which serves individuals who do not attend Eden as their primary program through behavior therapy, district consultation and professional training.

NAPSEC also has an accrediting body, where private special education schools can opt to become nationally accredited through NCASES ( National Commission for the Accreditation of Special Education Services). I have served as a commissioner for NCASES for the last 9 years and have also completed multiple site reviews, where I have been able to lead teams going into schools to access their ability to meet national standards. It’s been a fantastic opportunity to see some of the great things that so many schools are doing!

Eventually, I would like to be the executive director for a program serving individuals with disabilities. I have been a shift leader for Art All Night and run the retail component of the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market.
