I chose this book because as a diehard fan of the RedSox, David Ortiz has always been one of my favorite players, and so I wanted to learn more about his life experiences and how he got to be so good.

2. My first impression of David Ortiz is that he is the classic rags to riches story as he comes from the Dominican Republic in a poor town but is still able to get to a place of fame and fortune. He is a hard worker and is very determined to prove he is talented at baseball. 
He is caring as he wants to get a lot of money to take care of his parents.

3. I think the main conflict that David Ortiz will experience is having to be on the same team of people that he doesn't like to be around and how he dealed with all the fans that would yell at him for any mistake he made. 
3. I'm not sure if I answer this because while my book is nonfiction, it's an autobiography so it still has most the components of fiction books. I hope to learn about how he was able to deal with the growing fame and how he handled all the pressure he got.

I chose this book because my whole life I have loved superheroes. I always read about how they became the superheroes, and why they were heroes. I have never read the origin stories of supervillains.

2. My first impressions are really good. They are good because I have never known how Loki became the God of Mischief. He is saved by Odin and becomes Thor's adopted brother.

3. I think a conflict that Loki will have to deal with is the fact that he is adopted. He has to bond with his new siblings and try to make friends along the way.

David ortiz's main flaw is that he overthinks a lot of things and makes things harder than they need to be. When he does something bad, it is hard for him to move on.

2. Ortiz's wife is affected by this as she worries about him and how much he gets upset and down on himself after a bad game or an error that he made.

2. When he is in the minor league, sometimes he lets the confidence inflate and he acts like he is the best player of all time when he is still in the minors and that led to some bad results that kept him out of the major leagues for a while.

3. I can be overconfident a lot as well. Sometimes in baseball where you see a slow pitcher you get cocky thinking your going to drop a bomb but it results in a pop fly because you were so anxious to get a hit.
