      <description>This padlet is a collaboration that shows five resources we chose as well as some extra resources that we are keeping, in case of need. 

Sources 1 and 2 focus on bringing inquiry based learning (IBL) into classrooms.  These sites have great descriptions and examples of what IBL is and isn&#39;t, as well as metaphors and examples to help educators fully comprehend the options that IBL affords them.  So frequently, educators are presented with so many different methodologies and programs that incorporating one is a challenge.  Not only do these two sources help educators tie IBL to their own work, but they also provide a reasoning for why IBL works in classrooms. 

Source 3 is also along these lines, but since it also includes examples and research from Texas Tech, it also connects to resources 4 and 5. 

Although the three of us teach different content or grade levels, we chose to include cites that show specific examples and rationale for both Math and Science.  Inquiry method lends itself well to scientific inquiry and the scientific method, and this ties into the higher level learning that CCSS demand.  For these reasons, we included resources 4 and 5 (numbered as such in the Padlet).  Furthermore, Resource 4 (Examples of Inquiry Maths) provides lines of questioning and examples that are applicable not only to many math topics, but also across content areas, helping us tie IBL to our own content areas.</description>
