         <description><![CDATA[<p>Natrij (Na) je srebrnasti metal koji pripada alkalijskim metalima. Ima atomski broj 11 i maseni broj 23. Lako se reže nožem i vrlo je reaktivan, posebno s vodom. U prirodi se najčešće nalazi u soli (kuhinjskoj soli), a koristi se u industriji za pravljenje stakla, svjetiljki i drugih stvari.                                                                                                               Atom natrija ima jezgru u kojoj se nalazi 11 protona i 12 neutrona. Oko jezgre se nalaze 3 sloja elektrona: u prvom sloju ima 2 elektrona, u drugom 8, a u trećem samo 1 elektron. Taj jedan elektron u zadnjem sloju čini natrij vrlo reaktivnim.</p>]]></description>
