· They live in sub-Saharan Africa, and range from South Africa up to Kenya. This is obviously a very hot environment

· They have thick, tough skin

· They roll in mud to absorb moisture and heat from their body

· To deal with hot weather, rhinos tend to rest during the heat of the day and forage for food in the mornings and evenings.

· Rhinos need to drink large amounts of water to hydrate themselves and cool off their bodies, so a rhino's territory must contain water.

If you're anything like me, then you know what it's like to constantly be sweating in the Kentucky humidity. Nobody wants pit stains. Sweating is a human adaptation that keeps our bodies cool, but that adaptation can be pesky. By borrowing some designs from the rhinos, we can manage our sweat.
-Rhinos have thick skin... humans can use thickness as a way to guard from sweat
-Rhinos roll in mud to absorb sweat... humans can use an absorbent material to get rid of their sweat
-Rhinos drink large amounts of water ... humans can engage in practices that keep them hydrated and moisturized

The armpit absorbers will be placed in the armpits, and maybe even on the back. The absorbent material will soak up sweat and prevent your clothes from getting moist. This could be used for working out, if you're nervous for a presentation, or just everyday clothing. The absorbers would need to be thrown out after each use, but could be further developed to be included in the garment itself.
