I know that people grieve in all sorts of different ways. My grandma lost her mom last year. She was sad and crying most of the time. All her children were their to comfort her through the grieving process. Even though my great grandma lived in mexico, my grandma loved her very much. She was very sick towards the end of her life. She would have to be in a wheelchair all day long. Sometimes my grandma would cry to see her in that situation. That’s why my grandma was sad all day after her death.

People have the same feeling when they find out about the death of their loved ones. People think that finding out by surprise, that someone died hurts more than knowing that they are going to die. They are wrong. It will hurt the same because they are someone you loved. You are losing someone who was important in your life.

Quotes

"My loved one had a close brush with death, which was terrifying enough. There can be no comparison to actually losing someone"
I chose this quote because almost losing someone is not the same as actually losing someone. It will feel terrifying, but when they die , it is a whole different feeling. You will feel something empty inside of you.

"You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have"
I chose this quote because everybody is weak when it comes to grieving with a loss. Parents have to be the strongest when it comes to this because they don't want their kids to see them sad or depressed.

"Its not something I will be "done" with, it's something I am learning to live with"
I chose this quote because when you're grieving someone's death, you have to go through a process. This process takes years to get through. You can't just forget and move on. It something you have to deal with everyday.

"Goodbyes hurt the most when the story wasn't finished"
This quote means people are hurt more when they don't get to say goodbye to their loved one. People should cherish the people they love the most. They never know when could be that last time they talk to them.

"Even if you know what's coming, you're never prepared for how it feels"
This quote means if someone you love has cancer, you know that they are going to die. You don't know the feeling until it actually happens.

I learned that dealing with death is very difficult, especially if it is a loved one. The best way to grieve that person's death is to talk it out with someone. You will never recover if you are quiet the whole time. It is very important to say good things to the people you love. You never know when they will leave you. This shows the best ways to deal with the loss of a loved one.

Previously I mentioned that my grandma lost her mother. She was very devastated the week after her death. Most of my family was. She was loved throughout her life by many people, not just her family. I didn't get to see her that often. The only time I was able to visit her was on vacation trips to Mexico. I wasn't even allowed to go to her funeral. Only my dad and grandma went. When they came back my dad wasn't as sad as my grandma was. My great grandma meant more to my grandma. All her children would talk to her everyday. Part of this incident is why my grandma got very sick.
