However, without much direction in how I wanted to use this degree and with the pandemic approaching, I found myself working at an assisted living facility in Grand Haven as a CNA thinking it would be a "for now" position. As it turned out, I LOVE working in the medical field and with the elderly and vulnerable. Though, what really made me certain of this path was watching my grandmother suffer through, and ultimately lose her battle with lung cancer and wishing that there was more that I could do for her.

I graduated high school last year. I am starting my second year at MCC and on the waitlist for the nursing program. I am going to school to become a Neonatal Nurse. I am currently working at Walgreens Pharmacy as a pharmacy tech. I enjoy crocheting in my free time and hanging out with friends/family.
