Our final thought for this movie is truly inspirational. Because while most of us around the world complain about not having the best of everything, Magnifico and his family is grateful for the simplest life they have. His father Gerry do odd jobs, his Older brother Miong has lost his academic scholarship, and his mother Edna spent her days both caring for her young daughter Helen who suffers from cerebral palsy and for her aging mother-in-law (Magda) who lives upstairs in the family home and has diabetes and pancreatic cancer.  

The family fears that they can't give Magda a proper burial that's why  Ikoy save money and started preparing his grandmother's funeral, he prepares a gown and painted the coffin. He asked Ka doring, (who runs the mortuary) how much is for one land and she would always chase them away. but she eventually became fond of him especially when he gave her a bottle to cure her throat. 

One day his grandma passed out and they needed money to buy her a medicine, since they are poor Magnifico used his savings that is supposed to go to the wheelchair to buy a medicine. In the last day of the fair. Magnifico carried his sister on his back while she said her first word that touched his and his family’s heart. His neighbors were touched and they offered Magnifico anything they can help. That night was fun for Magnifico and his sister. After that day Magnifico was invited by Domeng to meet him where he work at. Magnifico saw that Domeng was about to be ran over by a van so he tried to call him out and run towards him, unfortunately it was Magnifico who was ran over by a van and he died after that. The coffin he prepared for his grandmother was used for him. His family and the whole neighborhood was devastated and mourned over Magnifico’s death, even Ka doring who would always chase them away is devastated and found her throat healed by Magnifico’s medicine. Everything turned out well in the family since they started being close to each other.
