As a manager of 16 teachers, I can only imagine how hard it is to follow through on expectations and promises to all the staff as well as students and families. I appreciate you in so many ways, but I wanted to focus in on how much you care about the health of our students and staff and their families. It could be really easy to become lax on safety things, but you haven't. And I think that is one of the biggest reasons we still have a working school! Haha! So yes, if you decide to ever move on from being a principal...you should look into the CDC. They could use someone like you. Thanks for all you do! - Bburg

Thank you for ALL you do every year, but especially this year. Educating students through a pandemic has been incredibly rough, but we all know leading through a pandemic has been too. I am grateful for the opportunity I had earlier this year to fill in for Lily and have the chance to see your dedication, thought for staff and students and hard work up close. I gained a deeper appreciation for the care you have for NC. I realize there are so many things that come each day for you to address behind the scenes, so thank you for all do public and private to keep our school safe and moving along!

I am very grateful that you are the leader of the school. You give all of yourself to this role, this school, your staff and it does NOT go unnoticed. You give any little bit of help you can anywhere you see an opportunity or an (unapproved) open spot on the coverage chart. You volunteer for way more than you should but you are always happy to do it, because that's just who you are. I don't know how you keep up with all the deadlines that come your way from HO plus everything else you take on daily. Many have already told you, but I'll join them in stating you are doing an amazing job at NC.

Ever since Day 01 at NC -- which I consider to be my virtual interview -- I've been so struck by how you lead your team. You see the big picture and address the major priorities head on, but you also have the sensitivity and that sort of sixth sense for connecting with individuals. That includes the individual members of your team and individual students. I don't get to see all the duties you fulfil behind the scenes, but I wonder how you have time for it because I constantly see you taking care of daily tasks and coverages with the rest of the team.
