Creating our glossy stained glass art:
If you’re working with young children, you’ll want to protect your work surface with a plastic table-cloth or newspapers.  

To create their art, the students draw whatever they wanted on their photo paper.  Coloring on photo paper is a such a cool experience.  The markers glide so smoothly over the glossy surface!

For the examples in the picture, my students used a black sharpie to make outlines, and then they filled the areas in with the colors of their choice.
As the coloring dries the art appears to look like stained glass

Students were allowed to use markers, crayons, or colored pencils. Both posters were completed within 2 days. Based on the popularity of the 2 posters, I set up a makerspace station utilizing the computer to create posters. Students designed the poster and then printed it. The first one was on aquatic life. The second poster was alphabet letters.
