         <description><![CDATA[<div>During March we celebrated Dr. Suess so our Makerspaces all had a Seuss theme.  The art center contained a variety of choices: templates for designing Silly Socks, how to draw different Seuss characters, door hangers, and bookmarks.</div>]]></description>

         <title>We are having a &quot;Year in Review&quot; in the MakeIt Lab and have many materials out that were in stations sometime this year, including both high-tech and low-tech items.  We continue to host 5th grade Tours in the MakeIt Lab and will even have a Cardboard Challenge with a middle school MCIII class at the end of the month.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I purchased 2 coloring posters, one for primary and one for intermediate students. Students were allowed to use markers, crayons, or colored pencils. Both posters were completed within 2 days. Based on the popularity of the 2 posters, I set up a makerspace station utilizing the computer to create posters. Students designed the poster and then printed it. The first one was on aquatic life. The second poster was alphabet letters. Students have enjoyed being able to design as well as decorate the posters.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Clay Modeling </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I found that this book wasn't really circulating because it required the use of clay, a kiln, and paint so instead I started having students using play-doh instead of real clay to gain a renewed interest.  So, students will find a project and recreate or create their own.  Once they do a few from the book they gt the idea and come up with some really creative items.</div>]]></description>
