I grew up in Houston, Texas where I graduated from Memorial High School. I attended the University of Arkansas where I received my bachelors degree in elementary education. In college I was a member of chi omega, the mental health organization and worked with the empower special education program. I loved my time in college, especially as I took more and more education classes to expand my knowledge of how to educate your children!

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with friends and family, traveling, shopping and exercising! My family is a big part of my life, and I have one sister who is three years younger than me. My mother was also a kindergarten teacher which is something so special for us to share! We most recently travelled to Isla Mujeres as a family and it was a blast! My favorite places to shop are target, alo yoga and amazon! I love pilates, cycle and HIIT workouts, and have considered getting a part time job at a pilates studio! A big part of my life is Camp Ozark, which is a christian summer camp located in Mt. Ida, AR. I was a camper for 8 years, and a counselor and staff member for three years. This camp shaped who I am as a person and provided me with so much community and love!

I have always been passionate about helping and working with children. From being a camp counselor to fifteen seven year olds to being a nanny for three years to a sweet kindergartener, I find my self catering my jobs and passions around helping young kids! I believe that all kids deserve to have a teacher that truly love to teach, and can provide a loving environment where children feel empowered to learn and grow. My college experience has provided me with valuable knowledge about how to adapt my teaching in order to reach every single child and ensure understanding in all subjects. I have discovered that the reason I am so passionate about teaching is because I believe that I can truly make a difference in each child's life and provide them with a positive role model, along with an amazing first experience with school! I am so excited to be your child's teacher! Let's have an amazing year!
