The play shows the duality of this lifestyle and the different moral conflicts the characters go through. It also features betrayal and lack of trust throughout further showcasing the negative reality of this kind of life.

Arguably one of the more important jobs the Lighting designer is responsible for light positioning and strength in specific areas of the stage all throughout the show. without someone to manage the lighting, there would be really no way to set the correct atmosphere making the show is virtually impossible to present adequately.

I am a History major so I enjoyed learning about the different eras of theatre particularly up to the medieval era because I am typically interested in anything that dates pre-modern. I really enjoyed learning about ancient Greek theatre and find it very interesting how far back we are able to trace elements of theatre from all over the world, and the fact that so much has survived shows how important it has been to humans for so long.

What I want to learn more about

I think I want to spend more time learning about Shakespeare, I am not too familiar with his work and this class taught me the most I have ever learned about him but I know that he is very important in the world of literature. I also did not realize how much he has contributed to the written English language in general.

Aspect of musical theatre

I have not been to very many shows in my life but when I was younger my school went on a field trip to see a Christmas carol-musical adaptation and it was quite memorable. the music tone would change frequently to match the mood of the scene which I felt made for a much more engaging experience and it reminded me of movies and how the soundtrack is one of the most important aspects of the movie's detail.
