A research conducted by the students of Ifugao State Univerity showed that the implementation of alternative learning system (ALS) in Isabela are generally commendable. The instructional materials were of use and equipments were always relevant and accessible. However, there are certain rural areas wherein there are lack of infrastructures to conduct the ALS and lack of actual application of learners. 

          In this time of pandemic, the use of gadgets would be good to continue the ALS since it gives continuation on the program without having to catch the disease. Also, there are certain websites on the internet can be used as an interactive learning. However these can also affect their learning negatively such as having access to internet wherein there are a lot of fake news. It is important that before giving them gadgets, we must teach them on how to differentiate fake news from real news. It would also be better if the local government of Isabela would coordinate with the Department of Education so that there would be proper monitoring and evaluating done to ensure that ALS is implemented properly and for funding of the gadgets so students can continue with their education even at this time of pandemic.

Without proper knowledge on how to handle those food waste, they can serve as a threat to our environment.  A study conducted on the Colleges at Cauayan, Isabela showed that they have maintained food safety and waste management procedures to ensure the welfare of students. However, regular evaluation should be done in order to ensure that proper protocols are observed. The use of plastic should be lessened. Although plastics allow easier and affordable storage for food, they are harmful to the environment because they don’t decompose easily and contains toxins. The Colleges could use papers as storages.
