         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1) Simple present tense</strong>: tense that is used to state fact, habitual action, general truth, or&nbsp; present. <br>The verb that is used in this tense is Verb 1. Simple present tense is divided into two sentences:<br><br><strong>a. Nominal sentence</strong>: sentence that use “to be”.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; Formula: S + is, am, are + O/C (Nominal)<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; Example: Flood <strong>is</strong> an overflow of an expanse of water that submerges land. <br><br><strong>b. Verbal sentence</strong>: sentence that contain the verb.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; Formula: S + Verb 1 + s/es + O/C (Verbal)<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Example: This disaster <strong>brings</strong> a lot of bad effects to nature and people. <br><br><strong>2) Connectors/ conjunctions </strong><br><strong>a. To mention several parts of arguments</strong>:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Firstly, ......&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Secondly, ...... &nbsp; Finally, .......<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; First, ....&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Second, .......&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Also, ..... <br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Moreover,&nbsp; &nbsp; Furthermore,&nbsp; &nbsp; Additionally,&nbsp; etc.<br><br><strong>b. To summarize or to conclude the points</strong>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Summarizing: in short…, in brief…, to sum up, ...<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Conclusion: in conclusion, .....<br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>
