Hi Carla! Three years is a god amount of time to be in the US before beginning a formal study of English. These few years have given you good exposure to the language that you can now build on in class. And it’s great that you are able to attend full time - not an easy thing to do while working and raising a son. How old is your son and what is his name? I wonder what kind of job you make like to get in the future? I am sure you will make a lot of friends while at BCC. 

My goal for the class is to have everyone working with different students so that we can all support each other in developing our writing skills. Sometimes you will work independently, but also frequently you will work with one or more students. I am sure you will make many new friends in this class and in others that you are taking! Hello Emely, I is wonderful to have you in class. BCC is an excellent next step for you after finishing GNBVT to continue to improve your English and get ready for your future! I want you to feel very comfortable about being quiet in class because that is who you are, but I am so happy that when you do feel comfortable you like to talk. My goal in class is to have students have opportunities to work together and independently so that everyone is comfortable. I love that you love sports cars. My husband does too and I am always amazed that he knows all the makes and models and years of cars that we see. That is a very cool photo of that black Dodge Charger! Thanks for posting.

Hi Emmanuel! Your friendliness and helpfulness will work very well in class as you work together with other students. We will all help each other to improve our writing skills. It’s going to be a great semester! I’m glad you are attending full time because I think you will progress rapidly as a result. Do you have any idea about what you would like to study in a degree program? Business? Technology? Healthcare? What kind of job would you like to have in the future?

Well, Good question miss Nancy Because I haven't decided which job I want it to do, but I do like to study Criminal Justice and I might becoming a FBI Agent in the future.
