Canada Day is on July 1st.
On this day everyone wears red and white because they are the colors on our flag. Many towns have parades and we see Mounted Police, horses, Canada flags, balloons and floats. The fire department throws candy for the kids from the fire trucks.
After the parade we hear the band play “O Canada” and we sing along.
Sometimes people even paint their faces and get Canada tattoos for the day.
At night we can hear the BANG of the beautiful fireworks!

It reminds us of how this very important characters of the Bible reached the portal of Bethlehem where Jesus had born. These parades are very important tradition where all the family gathers to see how the Kings follow their track. These parades always have Christmas carols and they throw sweets for the kids.
Every year we visit our grandparents house in Medina the Rioseco with my aunt's, uncle's and cousins and we spend the night together, we have a very traditional cake like called Roscon de Reyes and hot chocolate.
Later that night these three kings visit every house and give presents to all the good children. We always leave some cookies and wine for the Kings and some milk or wáter for the camels that take them.
