New chapters in life can be scary scary, also be fun and exciting. As you make your way in this new world you are about to embark on, remember that kindness and respect for others is more important than anything. More important than grades, sports, or popularity. When you are kind and make good choices, life will repay you ten fold. Maybe not right way, and maybe not even that year, but it will come. All you can be is your best, do not compare your best to someone else's. We are all unique and have our own talents. Just be you and always be kind. Help those that are in need, you will need help someday too.

I cannot begin to tell you how blessed and honored I have felt being your band director! You guys have truly done some incredible things in the band hall during our time together. In fact, you have made history! I cannot wait to see how you grow and succeed beyond the walls of Manor. Once you are part of the Manor Band Family, there you shall remain. Wow, it has been an incredible journey to see you grow from itty bitty bright-eyed 6th graders to fully determined mature (you know who you are) pre-high schoolers! Although this year has been different and we weren’t able to fully celebrate at the end of the year, it has been an experience for the ‘history books.’ Thank you to all of the students who bravely participated and put in the effort to compete in our academic competition this year-please continue to challenge your academic capabilities moving forward.
