         <title>Ability grouping, according to Haddie, does not have a considerable effect on student learning--not more than developmental learning that would occur outside of school. This makes sense because higher level thinkers challenge lower skilled thinkers to grow, and in turn challenges the higher level thinkers because they need to be able to explain it in different ways to encourage the understanding of others.</title>
