Overall Reflection

1) I will defiantly remember the layman terms to identify hurt areas because its like a whole other language. If I understand that, I could figure out what is wrong with someone from someone else's report. I also will remember the anatomy as well because even if I know how to describe an area of the body it is also important to point out what inside the body is hurt. I defiantly have become better in these two things as we progressed through the year.
2) I learned how to do CPR and use a defibrillator. I also learned how to protect myself and others with a medical kit. I will carry this with me forever to help save a life in need. Through the training we did I have become faster when responding to an emergency as well as taking care of an injured area.
3) I have learned about muscles that move the shoulder, knee, and ankle. I have also learned about what is commonly injured in athletes. I can use these skills to help identify injured areas or areas that need support. For example when we did the Gait-Walking lab I learned to identify who needs support and where they need it. I also learned what they could do to get the support they need. I have become better in identifying where muscles are and what movement they make in the body (Flexsion/Extention etc.)
Overall this has been such a fun class and I'm glad that I took it for another semester. Thank you Mrs. Pila!!!
