         <description><![CDATA[<div>They are small organelles that are filled with enzymes that help clean out the junk in the cell. Lysosomes were once thought to only appear in animal cells but are indeed found in some plant cells as well.&nbsp;<br>The break down large organelles that are no longer being used in the cell. Lysomes break down things like proteins, lipids and carbohydrates into smaller molecules, so the cell dose not overflow with junk.</div>]]></description>
