1.Adveritising affects young children by showing them things that they can buy or look into buying. Also the products like phones, clothes, and nice things can trick the childrens mind by making them think they look cool but really it gets the companies to get more m ney.
2.One personal problem is that every time the new iphone drops i want it because the new features are even better then the last ones companies will do this to make more money and this techniqe is called avant garde.
3. Children can ask themselves if the features outway the benifits of the new features in the product verus the price of the product. Parents can also ask their parents if there children need it or if they just want it because the parents may waste valuable money.
4. I plan to be a smart consumer by asking myself if i can benifit from the product because i may not need it and i can save my money on something that I actually need. It should be noted that a teenager may not have all the skills to know how to be a smart consumer so I should resist peer presure. Furthermore I can research the product and see if the content of the ad is true or not.
