         <description><![CDATA[<div>Standards are the backbone. They outline the  K-12 "Must Know, Understand, and Do" <br>Learning Progressions show how students might get there, where they should go if they get stuck, where they might go next. It has options, multiple layers, and always focuses on deeper understanding. It is more personalized. It is like a road map from one city to another with more than just the interstate labeled.<br>(Yes, I'm from a place with more than one road!) ;)</div>]]></description>
