I allow them to be in small groups and it is open book, open notes. Everyone in the group has to agree to the submitted answer; each student in the group get the same grade. Students help each other read through each question and problem solve. Great student feedback on this in-class activity. Worth 2.5% of overall grade; no points towards test average.
