I had been studying at UCR for 3 years when I got a call telling me that I was one of the best GPAs, and I was going to get a prize. I was living in Golfito at the time, so I had to travel to San José to be part of the ceremony where I got a medal, a 'best GPA' certification, and a monetary prize. The people in the picture are my mother and professor Francisco, who was my mentor. It was a very surprising and satisfying experience.

I have sung in front of 100 people (more or less). When I was in college, I was taking singing lessons. For our final project, we had to sing in the TEC Auditorium in front of our families and other guests. I had never sung in public before. That day, I walked to the stage, but my body was shaking. I was so nervous. I thought my voice would not come out. However, I went onstage and sang. When I finished, I felt wonderful. I did it! That's my success story.

When I was a child, I joined the Liberia Symphony Orchestra to play the viola and later the violin.

A few years later, I had the opportunity to perform at the Melico Salazar Theatre with the orchestra.

We were rehearsing for weeks before the concert, and everyone was very excited.

When I was in tenth grade, I had had problems with math and physics. I was trying to understand the lessons, but they were very hard for me. Then, I decided to study every afternoon and asked my teacher for help. By the time the final exams started, I had improved a lot. While I was taking the last exam, I was thinking about all my effort. In the end, I passed tenth grade, and I felt very proud of myself.

My graduation day wasn't the most wonderful day in the world thanks to some people in my family, but I was very grateful to my teachers and friends at that moment. They brought me a little happiness that day, telling me that I was going to be someone who was very capable of achieving whatever I wanted, and that they were going to miss my participation in class. I will never forget the hug that I gave to one of the teachers who did the most for me, as she thanked me for realizing that even the most capable and strongest person in charge has the right to ask for help and to cry and feel, and that was beautiful. She helped me a lot during my depressive moments and even helped me realize my own ability to understand that, despite all the time I spent in school, I was intelligent. She taught me to understand myself and to see myself as someone who could do anything as long as I did it with my heart.

That day, those few minutes were incredible... and I remember them with fondness and nostalgia. Even though it was just the ceremony, I enjoyed it like never before.

I remember that i took Korean classes when i was a teenager, it was in 2015 if i'm not wrong. I been always interested in their culture, so at that time i took a course to be able to learn their language. I lived in Guadalupe, so i had to travel to Desamparados to receive the lessons, i learned a lot of words and how to communicate with others like for 3 months, sadly i couldn't continue learning more, but i graduate from the course and i was very happy.
