It is very important in order to keep the elderly happy and not lonely, because in 2008, it was reported that 24.8% of lonely older adults said that loneliness has caused difficulties in completing everyday activities.

The Lionheart has a section with the houses of healing program where there goal it to help prisoners rehabilitate. In this program they teach prisoners how to control there emotion and express them in other was such as meditation. The Lionheart program along with the houses of healing program, has been a very successful program. The House of Healing wrote a book that the inmates read, most of the inmates say that they are inspired to “mature”.
