hello!! my name is laila fajar and i'm 18 years old this year. i'm a diverse athlete, i do floorball, netball and athletics, but i mainly focus on floorball. i currently represent selangor and i'm in the u21 malaysia squad.

i'd say one of the biggest challenges i've had to face troughout my journey was facing myself. often times, we focus on the challenges around us, but forget about the ones in us. i had thoughts of giving up and quitting, but i'm glad i didn't.

aside from sports, i'm also a debater and public speaker! my highest achievement was ranking top 12 in all of malaysia last year and of course i hope to achieve more :)

main point is, never give up, trust yourself and never be afraid to try new things!!

Hence, I joined this program. You might be asking what sports I do? I do a variety of sports such as swimming, martial arts, and badminton. I was aware of these sport from my school. These sports are compulsory to take. My principal always says, you will never know when you will need them in the future. My favourite sports is badminton. Although, I am a big fan of football.

By joining this ILEAP program, I hope I can gain new perspective of other people, learn different types of sport, meet new people and more. Most importantly, create new memories.
