My name is Makayla Hynum. I am 23 years old and I am currently working on getting my nursing degree. I am married to my knight in shining armor and we have 2 incredible children together. In my free time I enjoy reading, photography, running, and doing any kind of outdoor activity.

As a nursing student I am always trying to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advance and medical news. I tend to spend a good portion of my free time reading about all of the new advancements as well as researching whatever it is that I may need.

My husband Dustin and I have been together for 6 years and married for 4. He is an excellent husband and father and I look forward to our many years together.

Our 2 Beautiful Children Bryce and Gracie Hynum. Our son is 2 1/2 and our daughter is 16 months old. They are very rambunctious and keep us on our toes, however I wouldn't trade them for anything.

3 Resolutions for the Year

Procrastination- I have a very bad habit of procrastinating. However, this year I am going to work on procrastinating less. One step I have taken already to do this is a calendar. I write down each day the things I have to have completed before I go to bed. Sometimes they are little tasks and other times they are work that is not due for 2 to 3 weeks.

Furthering my Education- I am very passionate about furthering my education so that I can better provide for my family but also to set an example for my children. This semester I am doing this by continuing with my nursing degree at TCC. I am also enrolled in classes at OSUIT. When the semester is done I will be one step closer to my nursing degree and I will be a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Time Management-Being a full time college student, full time mother, and working does not leave very much time in my day. This year I am working on my time management skills. I want to find a way to better manage my time in regards to school and work but also have more time for my family. Additionally I want to make more time for just my husband and I, as well as more time for just myself.
