This traumatic experience leaves Rim, her mother, and sister finically troubled and she has to get a job in order to help her mother with the bills. Rim falls into depression and begins to fall apart. While weeping a girl comes out of a nearby stall and introduces herself. Her name is Carmen and she just recently moved here from Croatia. She didn't have any friends at the new school so she planned to eat lunch in the bathroom. Carmen comforts Rim and tells her that her situation is not her fault and that the kids are awful for making fun of her.
