Wow DabbaWalas is undirectly a type of transportation in India(Mumbai especially) in delivering goods. It's also a type of packaging in logistics like box or pallets. But this one is a traditional one in India. Am very impressed with this things because all the procedure from the beginning to the end of delivering the goods is related to the logistics management system such as they are using 7R in their system. It's a traditional logistics activities i think. Moreover, they not even use a technology unless a train and bicycle for delivering the goods and just depends on the man power. How come they are succes in what they are doing without using any technology and vehicles. They also manage to deliver the foods and things in time. They really success on what they are doing which is dabbawalla. What I understand is that they implement the 7r and that what makes them success. And also they have a great teamwork. Without the teamwork, they wouldn't manage to deliver it on time. The person (dabbawalla) itself have fully responsibility on what they are doing. To make sure they deliver it on time, they also make the "dabba" in different colour for different destinations. It was really creative of them to make a difference between any of other transportation that was provided by the other country. This difference is what make their service well known. The costs of this delivery process for a month is also very cheap compare to other types of transportation , it only costs 10 dollars for a month. Lastly, to make sure that their company and 'the people' uses their service, 'the people' can text and email them. This will make 'the people' can easily in touch with the dabbawalla itself. First of all I would like to thank you. I wouldn't have known a thing about ' Dabbawalas ' if it wasn't for the 5% carrymark, truth be told.

Basically, ' Dabbawalas ' are persons in India, most famous in Mumbai, who are a part of an organization that collect and deliver lunch boxes to people. So let's get this straight, they ( Dabbawalas ) use no technology. Bicycle and railway trains are their only transportation. As mentioned by the host, ' Dabbawalas ' implement the 7R, right food, right customer, right time, right quantity, right place and so on. They sure have their own way on perfecting the 7R. Right place for example, each ' Dabbas ' or ' lunch boxes ' have color coding marks to make sure that they are delivered to the right place.

I believe the name of the organization is ' Nutan Mumbai Tiffin Box Supplier Association '. They really deserved recognition and acknowledgement from the royals. Well why not? They are able to do their work efficiently without the use of technology. That is just splendid!

My opinion based on the video about Dabbawalla is they have great team work. I'm so impressed watching that video. For me, it is impossible to make the delivery without any technology. But Dabbawalla can success do the delivery very well just by bicycle and train only. Not just about that, they also can manage the delivery to ensure the goods have receive at the right time, right place and also to the right person. This kind of works are not easy but they can handle it event doesn't have any technology and they do it by theirself with success.
