Explanation: I agree that the original title was too simplistic considering all the things going on in this chapter. I believe the spot is really meaningful in this story because it will last on John’s leg for at least a year. So, if a little spot causes so much damage, how much damage could the waste cause to the river? I also think it was worth mentioning the money in the title, because it was life-changing for John and his family since he was able to pay for a nicer new house and even a boat.

I chose this title because at the beginning of the book, the author mentioned there are two ways of committing a crime. ‘You can do it with your eyes open, or you can do it with your eyes close’ In this case, John put his happiness before work. You may wonder what’s wrong about that. John’s happiness was bought with money and that is not happiness, it is about now affordable interests. The thing is that due to his interests, he decided not to pay much attention to what would happen to the people or to the environment if somehow the chemical waste reached the town or another places. So I think this was a choice, he was able to choose between his own profits or the others one, guess we already know which won.

I would not use the title "Rich man" becouse i guess, it has only very little to do with the events taking place in this chapter.

i choose this title because all the people who work in the factory only care about their products and not what this can cause in the world.
