Napoleon took land from other countries throughout Europe after the French Revolution. Napoleon also wasn't short.

The American Revolution took place when Brits in America were unhappy with Brits from the U.K., and destroyed their tea.

Enlightenment
The enlightenment was when people began to increase their knowledge, with rules becoming less restrictive and art becoming more free-flowing. The Enlightenment also set the foundation for the rules of modern government.
