The materials that might have been used in this piece might have been watercolors and a black marker. 
I think what stands out to me about this piece is the shape of it. The shape of it looks like two people. 
The meaning of the piece might be about two people who are separate from each other. One of them is right side up and the other is upside down. This might be used to show how they are at different places from each other.
