Hunt for the different pictures in the theme book and have the children to look for it. Have them to sequence the pictures and read the story using their own words.

Print out words mentioned in the sentences and have the children to arrange it into a correct sequence. Invite the children to read the sentences out.

Obstacle course - Children to go through the obstacle course and jump onto the sight word cards pasted on the floor. They will have to read the sight words that they have jumped on.

After the children were familiar with the words in the book/on the page, give a group of children musical instruments, and another group to read the sentence. When they come across a sight word, the group with the instruments will play it.

Have children act of the story based on their interpretation so that different groups will act out differently.
