Stalin welcomed FDR and Chruchill with open arms (at this time, almost the entire Black Sea was under Soviet control).
They discussed how they would split up Europe after the War. Stalin wanted Eastern Germany to create a buffer zone between the USSR and Europe and Britain and the US (along with France) would split up Western Germany.

The US and Soviet Union had equal involvement because both sides agreed to meet. Plus they both had a common enemy, Germany.

Truman and presented to congress to counter Soviet expansion. During this time Turkey and Greece were dealing with Civil Wars and Truman feared Soviet influence in both countries so he made sure it would contain Soviet threats. It also provided financial aid to both economies and both the Greek military and Turkish military.

The Truman doctrine was 100%, just the United States. The Soviets had little involvement because this was an American doctrine drafted by the United States. If anything this was against the Soviet Union because it prevented Soviet Expansion.

It was named after George Marshall who served as US army Chief of staff during WWII. The plan also helped prevent the spread of Communism. Nations that were part of the Axis Powers or Remained Neutral received less money. The most money went to Britain, France, and West Germany.

Just like the Truman doctrine, the Marshall Plan was also 100% United States and no Soviet involvement. The never had any involvement in what it was about and when it was drafted. This again most likely was also against the Soviet Union because the MP tried to prevent the the spread of Communism which the Soviet Union had the opposite idea and wanted to spread Communism.

Soviet-Commumist influence was in North Korea and American-Capitalist influence was in South Korea. By 1949, the US cut back its armed forces in South Korea, there were only 500 American troops in South Korea at the time, Stalin believed the United States would not fight to defend South Korea so North Korean forces crossed the 38th parallel and invaded. Between the years of 1950 and 1953, it would be a war of ideology and who would control the entire Korean Peninsula between the American-Capitalist South and Soviet-Commumist North.

The Soviet Union is mostly at fault here because the Soviet/N. Korean side invaded the South. The United States is also not innocent because they decided to only leave 500 American troops in South Korea. 500 troops would not be able to defend South Korea and knew that the Soviet/N. Korean side would do anything to take over the southern portion of the peninsula. The Soviet/N. Korean side should have not invaded because the peninsula was fairly split between the two powers.

Cuba saw a lot of their population lower because many Cubans sought asylum in nearby Florida. In 1961, 2 years after the Cuban Revolution, the United States and about 1,500 Cuban (which were trained by the CIA) refugees who were opposed to Fidel, invaded the Bay of Pigs on Cuba's Southern Coast. The invasion was financed by the CIA. The plan was to overthrow Fidel Castro but the invasion ultimately failed.

This is 100% on the United States. Even though the original Cuban government was overthrown and most people in the US do/did not agree with Fidel, that is still not the United States businesses to invaded and try to overthrow the Cuban government just because they disliked Fidel. This could have ended a lot worse. The Soviet/Marxist ideology may have influenced Fidel but the US doesn't need to oversee Cuban international affairs or oversee the Cuban people.

President JFK said he would not tolerate any kind of  nuclear war. On October 14, US spy planes flying over Cuba took photos that showed Soviet missile bases in Cuba and some of them were ready for launch and could reach important US cities in a matter of minutes. JFK informed the nation there were in fact Soviet missiles in Cuba that were ready for launch and revealed his plan to remove the missiles. For the next six days, the world was faced with the terrifying possibility of nuclear war. Soviet ships headed to Cuba were carrying more missiles while the US Navy prepared to quarantine Cuba and prevent Soviet ships from coming 500 miles of it. 100,000 troops in Florida waited for an Invasion. The Soviet ships suddenly stopped coming because they wanted to avoid a confrontation at Sea. Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev, offered to remove the missiles from Cuba and it in return the United States would not try to invade Cuba.

The Soviet Union is mostly at fault because they just made the situation with Cuba worse. Teasing the United States with Soviet weapons in Cuba that were ready to launch is not going to make diplomatic ties between the United States and Cuba better because the Soviet Union, now an enemy, is sending nuclear weapons to Cuba which struck fear in the US. The United States is not completely innocent because if the United States had not invaded Cuba, they would have not had to deal with Soviet missiles in Cuba.

In the 1950s, French power in indochina was weakening so the US sent economic and military support. In Vietnam, the nation was split between North and South. The North was governed by the Communist Viet-Cong party and was backed by other Communist states such as China and the Soviet Union. South Vietnam was completely democratic and was backed by South Korea and the USA. The North Vietnamese​ wanted a united Vietnam and believed the War was keeping the Vietnamese colonized and preventing them from an independent Vietnamese state. It was one of the bloodiest wars in US history.

The United States and Soviet Union are almost equally at fault. The United States were using unfair chemical warfare against north Vietnam and Laos. They also were causing more diplomatic tension between the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union just like in Cuba and Korea were spreading Communism and creating allies through war against the United States. The Soviets were also turning the US against the Soviet Union which again was creating tension between both nations.
