William Jennings Bryant was the representative of the populist party. Populism gave birth to interstate commerce commission, the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, the 16th amendment, and the 17th amendment. Countries that practice a first-past-the-post voting system will never allow third-party candidates to thrive.  Polling exclusions, presidential debate participation and ballot access legislations make it even more difficult for third-parties to win a presidential debate. I would like either Clinton or Trump to create a free health care system for everyone in America, similar to the one Sanders wanted.
