The stories overlap each other in different ways. I love historical fiction, especially about WWII. I also love anything set in NYC!

On opening night of the exhibit the artist goes missing. Was she murdered like the victims of her artwork? Is she hiding out somewhere to make her exhibit more compelling and famous? It’s not as gory as it sounds. Started out slowly but is picking up the intensity and mystery.

I am enjoying the stories so far as the author tends to use magical realism and metaphors to make social commentary. If you enjoy works by authors such as Gabriel García Márquez and Jorge Luis Borges, i definitely recommend this book!
