The Saracen Army Retook Jerusalem.

Second Crusade Begins

In 1147 ad the second crusade began, however the Muslims in Jerusalem were prepared and the Christians had to retreat before they made it to the Holy Land.

The Third Crusade Begins

From 1189 to 1192 King Richard sent out soldiers to do a third crusade, but it wasn't successful in taking any land.

Fourth Crusade is attempted.
