Waking up may seem like a chore nowadays, but we should always remember that we have a goal in life and this will not happen if we will not work for it. The pandemic has influenced our lives in ways no once could imagine or even predicted. Today, it is considered to be the most challenging aspect in the society we live in but as we move forward, we are continuously learning to adopt and adapt. It is truly undeniable that taking online classes and working from home are not the best setup. Time management is hard especially with health and safety concerns as well as the virtual fatigue we experience on a daily basis. Despite the challenges, time and time again has shown us that we can and we will always push through.

As a scholar who is taking her internship this semester, I am eternally grateful to Team OSA, my MdBL family, and every SLRS scholar for teaching me so many things, helping me further develop my organizational expertise and non-stop encouraging me to be the best version of myself. Currently and gratefully in my 3rd year with CTHM! I remember being in my freshman year, tons of moments where my mere freshie self was having such a difficult time to adjust from being a highschool student to being a working college scholar.

At that time I wasnt always successful in concealing my struggles. My supervisors, my ma'am(s) and sir(s) would at times see me arrive at school or go about my daily duties in such a messy and clumsy state. at worst days, they'd see me shed a tear or two.

I am such a lucky scholar being able to say that these people, my higher-ups who have already achieved so much in their careers, would remind me to take care of myself better and prioritize my own growth more than anything else. They would treat me as an equal, and give me as much respect as they would give any other colleague.

Despite the endless demands of work, they never cease to be gentle and understanding supervisors whom I have always looked up to. Will forever be thankful for having these people in my life <3

I put this quote not in the cynicism of it but in all ways reality is so much more of what we make it to be. Reality is messy, and mysterious, and unexpected and that is all what makes the beauty of it. The opportunity to work with OSA is one of what I could say is a very real thing. I am not the loudest person and I prefer (or at least used to) keep in the most quiet corners of the room. I must say this opportunity has led to new and wider connections that helped me choose to be kinder and more understanding to the people that surround me. We may not all know each other that much but we are bonded by the determination to realize our dreams. I want to say everyone deserves a hug for putting in the extra effort, going the extra mile, to serve. Being a student during this extraordinary time of crisis, is definitely an unprecedented challenge not only for me, but I guarantee, also for the rest of us. Despite the challenges I am facing right now may it be to current situation or personal struggles, I am fighting with courageousness and positive outlook. It is very difficult to learn under the remote distance learning because we are unable to show our capabilities in our chosen programs. By reverting this I chose to be busy by working with my colleagues in the organization. I remembered years ago, I kept on praying to be approved for this scholarship. I must say, I am still in awe of how amazing the Lord's plan was. As a student during the pandemic, I have adjusted to the setup that we have now which is online learning but at the same time, I am really happy to be back in the hospital for our duties.

It's not easy being a working student while juggling all the responsibilities as a graduating student. However, I can say that being a scholar is one of the most memorable achievements that I have had. I have not only gained experience and skills, but I also met friends and even family along the way. I will forever be thankful to the University, to AB, and to God for this opportunity.

I feel proud that I have braved four years of college as a scholar despite all the difficulties we all have been through. And now that it's almost over, I can't help but be thankful for everyone who has helped me gain the courage to conquer every day. I've been assigned at the UST Museum since my first semester as a scholar. Yes, working while studying was extremely exhausting, but the people I am working with and the things that we do for the Museum makes it all worth it. Heading on to the online set-up made everything harder since my assignment in the Museum was more on interacting with guests and doing office work. However, now in the online setup, we still make the most of what we have. I am forever grateful and blessed that the UST Museum has really been like home to me, near or far.

Things have been quite challenging, given the circumstance. It is not an easy feat to continue doing what you're doing in the way that you have from before since things are inherently different. This proves itself in the way our work is far from what we've come to know. But overcoming these will prove to be fruitful in the end and I would gladly say that the things I have learned from this new set-up has allowed me to continuously strive being the best version of myself.

There are a lot of words that can be used to describe how it feels to belong to this team but I chose the simple word "happy." I am happy simply because of all the kindness and concern that I receive in the workplace. I am happy to be able to serve and know that I am contributing something for the good of others. Lastly, I am happy to have met a new close friend because of belonging to this team. Recalling all the little things that I have received all throughout my student assistantship in this team brings joy to my heart.

Encoding was my favorite skill to learn out of all of the others. Despite the difficulties, I gained a great deal of knowledge to help me with my assignments and completed them on time, allowing many jobs. And all I've learned I'm willing to share with others.
