I chose Cocaine. Cocaine is the drug that gets transported by big drug dealers. I would like to know as well about coke because this drug is very dangerous.

Many people consume cocaine by snorting it in its powder base and others rub it into their gums. Those aren't the only ways to consume although those are the most used ways. Others dissolve the drug and inject it into their bloodstream. Some inject it but they combine it with heroine which they call a speed ball. Users could also consume what is called crack which is a crystal/rockish substance that is sprinkled into cigarettes or other drugs that are smoke able. Some users consume more than one dose in little amounts of time in order to maintain the effect of cocaine. Cocaine comes from the coca plant that is grown in south America. It is first dried up then made to a powder, after that it's heated until the powder is a bit oily.

The percentage of teens who use it in general is 3.6%. Cocaine isn't that popular of a drugs used by teens as it has decreased the usage on, mostly because it dangerous. The percentage used to be higher in the 80's and 90's. The percentage of teens in america who uses it is at 0.6 percent which leads to the world wide percentage being at 3%. About 85% of teens don’t approve of cocaine is which is higher than it used to be in the 80's.

Using cocaine can cause brain damage and in long term affects, could cause mood change mostly leading to anger. Not only that but long term effects also include, Auditory hallucinations, Restlessness ,Paranoia, Psychosis. Cocaine increases stress hormones as well. You will start to have memory problems at a much younger age than someone who doesn’t do the drug.

There are many rehab centers that addicts can go to if they ever need help recovering from a substance. There are many mental symptoms that someone might have to go through during the detoxification process Such as strong cravings, fatigue, irritation, and the lack to experience pleasure. one place to go to is Banyan Chicago that has a rating of 4.4 stars on google. This rehab center isn't only used to rehabilitate people that are addicted to cocaine but many more drug addictions.

I personally hate drugs that are bad for someones health. Cocaine is a very risky drug to be taking not only because its bad for you but if its your first time using it and you use to much you can overdose. Whoever uses cocaine for fun is ignorant because i'm pretty sure no one needs to use cocaine for medical reasons. Any drug that is illegal is illegal for a reason which is also why I don't approve cocaine.
